Here’s how to get the most out of it:

Trim the wick before each use to 6 mm. This helps the candle burn evenly and the wick crackle well.

Place the candle on a stable, heat-resistant surface, away from drafts.

For the first burn, let the candle burn for at least two to three hours. This melts the top wax layer fully to prevent a tunnel from forming.

Don’t blow out the flame; extinguish it with a lid or snuffer to reduce smoke.

Wait for the candle to cool completely before removing any charred wick residue.

Love a soft, warm scent to balance the fresh Matcha Zest? The Cashmere Large Candle is a lovely match. It offers a warmer, powdery vibe and pairs nicely if you want to switch scents by room or season.

Why does this candle smell and sound so different?

The crackling sound comes from the wooden wick, which makes a subtle popping noise as it burns. This makes lighting the WoodWick Matcha Zest Large Candle - 611gr an experience you hear as well as smell. The gourMand scent mixes fresh citrus with green tea and a soft vanilla base, creating a fragrance that’s both fresh and warm. The citrus top notes gradually give way to deeper matcha and vanilla tones.

What fragrance notes does the Matcha Zest candle have?

The scent of Matcha Zest is layered in three parts. Top notes include fennel, citrus and lime zest. The heart blends green tea, jasmine and sugared pea pods. The base is matcha powder and vanilla. Together this creates a gourMand fragrance that starts fresh and ends warm. It’s not heavy or too sweet, but full of character.

How long does the WoodWick Matcha Zest Large Candle - 611gr burn?

According to WoodWick, the Large Hourglass version burns between ninety and one hundred and forty hours. Trim the wick each time and burn long enough to easily reach the upper limit. Short burns wear the candle down faster.

Can this candle cause allergic reactions?

Yes.
