Is teeth whitening bad for your teeth?
Worried that whitening your teeth might harm them? The answer is no! All Polished London products are 100% safe, trusted, and recommended by dentists. They contain only top-quality enamel-safe ingredients, delivering effective whitening without sensitivity! With Polished London, there’s no reason to hide your smile anymore!
Is teeth whitening permanent?
Whitening your teeth is not permanent. That’s because tooth discolouration is a natural process, so whitening is only a temporary solution. But if you limit foods and drinks high in colourants and avoid smoking, your teeth will stay whiter for longer!
Is teeth whitening painful?
Whitening your teeth is not painful! This is because Polished London products are safe and contain only approved ingredients. If you have sensitive teeth and worry about discomfort, no worries! Start with Whitening Paste and ToothPaste Tablets. These are gentle and specially designed for sensitive teeth.
Can I eat anything after whitening my teeth?
We recommend not eating or drinking anything except water for the first four hours after whitening your teeth. This is because whitening removes surface discolouration from the enamel, which then needs some time to recover. Eating too soon can prevent this. For best results, whiten your teeth at night after brushing but before bed.
How do I make my teeth whiter?
Want a dazzling white smile? Polished London is your go-to. There are several ways to brighten your teeth. Below we cover the Man types you can easily use at home!
Polished London offers multiple whitening treatments, like Teeth Whitening Strips and the Teeth Whitening Kit. Both remove dark spots and reduce discolouration from external factors or genetics. Both contain the active whitening ingredient PAP.
Polished London recommends using a Whitening Toothpaste or Whitening Powder to brush your teeth. These clean teeth and remove stains. They gradually enhance shine, making your teeth appear much whiter. Use toothpaste or powder with the bamboo toothbrush.
How often can I whiten my teeth?
How often you can whiten your teeth at home varies by treatment. For example, the Polished London Teeth Whitening Powder can be used once daily for up to 14 days, then 3-4 times a week for maintenance. Other treatments can be used daily. Always read the packaging and instructions before use!

The duration your teeth stay white after treatment varies. It depends on your eating and drinking habits and your teeth’s natural colour. Usually, with a safe whitening kit, your teeth stay white for about two to three months after reaching the desired shade.
What is peroxide?
Peroxide is a substance with strong bleaching power. It’s suitable for whitening your teeth, you might think! But that’s not entirely true, and more people now choose peroxide-free whitening treatments. Until a few years ago, many bleaching agents contained high levels of hydrogen peroxide. Later, it turned out that such levels could harm your dental health and condition. Since November 2012, only dentists and hygienists may use high peroxide concentrations in bleaching products.
What are the benefits of peroxide-free teeth whitening?
All Polished London products are peroxide-free. This is because peroxide can cause significant enamel damage when overused or in high concentrations. Side effects of hydrogen peroxide whitening include gum inflammation, lasting tooth sensitivity, and enamel thinning. No one wants these, so we’re very pleased that Polished London products are all peroxide-free!
