Eyeshadow can sometimes be quite difficult to apply. There are so many colors and various types: powder, creams, sticks... You can apply it in many ways, and there are lots of tips and tricks you can use. We've put everything together for you: 

• Choose a color that suits you - Using a color that matches your eye tone is a good place to start. You can choose from hundreds of colors. Above, we've already explained some colors that match eye colors nicely.
• Eyeshadow primer - Use an eyeshadow primer. This makes blending eyeshadow easier, helps it last longer, fades less, and makes the colors pop beautifully! 
• Build up your eyeshadow - If you apply bright or dark shades, it's always best to build up the color. It's better to apply one shade multiple times than to take a big load of powder on your brush at once. This way, you can blend well after each step and better see when you've applied enough eyeshadow.
• Blend eyeshadow well - This is a must for eyeshadow because it creates a beautiful transition. Ideally, you want to avoid stripes. When blending, you can use different brushes to make it blend beautifully.

Use a lighter color at the beginning of your eyebrow. Try to choose a color that is just a bit lighter than your natural hair color. Tip 1: Pay attention to your hair color 
Your hair color can definitely play a role in determining the lip color that suits you best. Below you can find your hair color linked with a matching lip color.

• Blond hair → go for nude tones or light pink and brown tones.
• Brown hair → try a dark red, pink-beige, or dark pink color.
• Black hair → burgundy gives a nice effect, also brown tones, fuchsia, and raspberry red.
• Red hair → copper and bronze tones or think of orange or red with a brown glow suit you beautifully.

 

Tip 2: How do I determine my skin undertone?
Below you will find tips to find out what your skin undertone is. The undertone of your skin is very important to know. This way, you can more easily find out which lip color suits you best, and it can also help with other makeup products.

• See which color jewelry suits you better. If gold jewelry brightens your face and silver makes it look dull; then you have a warm undertone in your skin. If silver jewelry suits you better; then you have a cool undertone. 
• Look at the color of the large veins on your wrists. Are your veins clearly blue? Then you probably have a cool undertone in your skin. Are your veins more green or olive-colored? Then you have a warm undertone. Can't see clearly? Then you can have both warm and cool colors.

 

Tip 3: Which type of lipstick suits me best: glossy, creamy, or matte lipstick?
Have you found the right lipstick color? Then you still have the choice between a glossy finish, a matte, glossy, or a lipstick with a creamy texture.

Glossy - Hydrates more than matte lipstick, stands out. For a subtler look, a creamy or matte lipstick is more suitable.

Matte - Provides intense color and lasts long with shiny lipsticks. Some lipsticks can dry out lips.

After your first coat of mascara, dust your lashes with loose powder – this will give your lashes more volume by making them look thicker. Add a second coat of mascara to cover the powder, and voilà!

Tip 2: Use eyeshadow as eyeliner

Tip 3: Curl your lashes more than once

Tip 4: Clean your sponge in 1 minute
