It’s almost Christmas! Do you already have your party outfit hanging in the closet? During Christmas, there are all kinds of occasions where you can really go all out with your clothes, hair, and makeup. We’re excited! Your carefully put-together outfit shouldn’t be without a fleeky makeup look. Read on for our Christmas makeup tips.
Make sure your day cream has absorbed well, then apply a primer to your face with clean fingers or a brush. You want to enjoy your masterpiece as long as possible, so it’s wise to use a primerto use before you start. A primer protects your skin and reduces pores. This gives the skin an even effect and ensures your makeup stays beautiful all day.
Foundation
The next steps are concealer and foundation.
Apply concealerso that you no longer have dark circles under your eyes. This also makes fine lines disappear. This instantly makes your eyes look extra radiant and refreshed. Then apply the foundationwith clean fingers or a brush on your face. A tip from us: less is more! You don’t want to end up looking like the cake on the table.
Contouring
Now we’re going to contour the face with your four best friends: Contour, highlighter, bronzer, and blush. With the contour powder, you add extra definition to your cheekbones, nose, and forehead. The blush gives your cheeks a warm tint, the bronzer ensures your face has a beautiful tan, and with the highlighter, you give your face a gorgeous glow.
Eye makeup
Up next is the highlight of your look, the eyes. There are many ways to compliment your eyes. In this blog, we discuss three different ways to do your eye makeup from light makeup (natural), extra makeup (normal palette) to heavy makeup (smokey eyes)
Natural
For a natural makeup look, we use three colors:
a soft light tone on your eyelids
a shadow tone on your eyelids
a warm tone under your eyes
Try to apply the eyeshadow as shown in the photo.
After this, besides mascara, you can also choose a small winged eyeliner to accentuate your look.
Normal
For a normal makeup look, we use four colors:
a warm light tone on your eyelids
a dark shadow tone on your eyelids
a warm tone under your eyes
a white tone in your inner eye corner
Try to apply the eyeshadow as shown in the photo.
Apply mascara and winged eyeliner.
Smokey
For a smokey makeup look, we use four colors:
a light shadow tone on your eyelids
a black tone on your eyelids and outer eye corners
a dark shadow tone under your eyes
a shiny warm tone in your inner eye corner
Try to apply the eyeshadow as shown in the photo.
Apply mascara to your upper and lower lashes and winged eyeliner.
Lips
To complete the look, you can add a color to your lips. This is not essential and we recommend doing this last, so you can decide if it’s too much in combination with your eye makeup.
Finish
Once you are completely ready and satisfied with the final result, you can use a setting sprayuse so your makeup lasts longer. Handy if you’re going out or having drinks later! We hope you found these tips helpful and that you feel beautiful this Christmas! On behalf of the entire Haarspullen.nl team, we wish you a wonderful Christmas with all the people around you!
