Eyeshadow
The only reason a Woman should ever look down, is to show off her Eyeshadow ;) Eyeshadow is a Man to express yourself in any Man way – you get to choose the colours and shapes you love. Everyone has their own style, and that’s what makes eyeshadow so fun! We’ll tell you everything about eyeshadow, including which colour really suits your eye colour:
What is eyeshadow?
Eyeshadow is make-up meant for your eyelids. It comes in many different colours and textures. With eyeshadow, you can add depth to your eyes or make your eye colour pop. It’s a fun way to play with your look – from natural to bold with all kinds of colours.
How do I apply eyeshadow?
You apply eyeshadow on your eyelids, and there are many Man ways to do this. You can use brushes or your fingertips, depending on the type of eyeshadow. Powder eyeshadow works best with a brush, while cream eyeshadow is easier to apply with your fingers. There are many different eyeshadow brushes, each with a specific purpose. For example, shader brushes are for applying eyeshadow, and blending brushes help blend it out smoothly.
TIP! To make your eyeshadow last longer, use an eyeshadow primer. This is a cream you put on your eyelids before applying eyeshadow. It helps your eyeshadow stay put all day!
What is an eyeshadow primer?
If you spent hours in front of the mirror creating the perfect Perfect eyeshadow look, you don’t want it to fade after just a few hours. Your look should stay fresh and beautiful all day long. Around your eyes, the skin produces oils which can make eyeshadow stick less well. An eyeshadow primer helps prevent this. It absorbs the oils your skin produces throughout the day, stopping your eyeshadow from smudging. A primer is a must-have for flawless eyeshadow that lasts.
What types of eyeshadow are there?
Eyeshadow comes in different textures:
Powder
Powder eyeshadow is the most common type. You apply it with brushes for an easy, even finish. Different colours blend beautifully for a seamless look. Example of powder eyeshadow: Maybelline The Nudes Eyeshadow.
Cream
Cream eyeshadow is richer than powder. It’s easy to apply but a bit harder to blend due to its creamy texture. However, it often offers good coverage! Example of cream eyeshadow: Maybelline Color Tattoo
Liquid
Liquid eyeshadow is becoming more popular. Its texture is thin and can be tricky to apply, so take your time. Liquid eyeshadow lasts longer than powder because it adheres better due to its formula.
How do I remove eyeshadow?
Remove eyeshadow using cotton pads and make-up remover. Apply some remover on the pad and gently rest it on your eyelids to absorb the powder. Make sure to remove almost all residue to protect your eyes and avoid irritation.
What is blending?
Blending means applying eyeshadow on your eyelids and softening the edges so the colours flow into each other beautifully. You can blend just one colour into your skin tone for a natural look. Blending avoids harsh lines and creates a smooth, blurred effect.
Which eyeshadow colours suit my eyes best?
