How to use the Flowerology Naturally Kinder Colours?
Trying a new hair colour or dyeing your hair yourself can be a bit nerve-wracking. Umberto Giannini makes it really easy with these products! They are designed for home use, so no professional experience is needed. Yet, you get a salon-worthy result!
First thing first, choosing a hair colour. The shade you select depends entirely on your wishes. Maybe you’ve always dreamed of brown locks or want a fresh summer look with a few lighter shades. Whatever you choose, make sure it makes you happy! :)
Before you begin, always carefully read the packaging and instructions. Check the ingredient list to ensure the product doesn’t contain anything you’re allergic to. Everything checked? Then let’s move on to preparation.
Step 1: Preparation
They say: preparation is half the battle. Put on gloves to protect your hands and keep them on throughout the process. Open the caps of the colour and the developer. Pour the colour into the developer bottle and close the cap again. Shake until the colour and developer mix well. Comb your hair and divide it into four sections. Your hair is now ready for colouring.
Step 2: Applying the colour
You can choose to colour only the roots to touch up regrowth. Or you can colour all your hair—it's up to you!
On the roots
Start by applying colour to the roots. Take one section at a time and work from front to back. Apply the colour carefully along the scalp rows. Massage the root area with your fingertips to ensure even colour coverage. Leave to develop for 30 minutes. For stubborn grey hair, leave an extra 10 minutes. Want to refresh the rest of your hair? Apply the remaining colour on the lengths for the last 20 minutes.
Over the whole hair
Start colouring the roots as above. Then use your fingertips to apply colour to the lengths. Massage both root and lengths to ensure even coverage. Leave for 30 minutes. For stubborn greys, leave an extra 10 minutes.
Step 3: Rinse and finish
Rinse your hair thoroughly with warm water once processing time is up. Shampoo until the water runs clear. Squeeze out excess water and apply the colour lock conditioner to seal the colour. The conditioner restores natural vitamins and minerals for healthy coloured hair.
