The luxurious Royal Kis line is completely new and of unparalleled quality. In the late 1980s, all-in-one products were immensely popular. Shampoo and conditioner in one seemed like the product of the future. Yet this never quite took off, but why? Most of the cleansing agents used have a negative charge and nourishing ingredients a positive one. They bind to each other, making it impossible to effectively combine cleansing and care. With traditional shampoos, 50-60% of both the cleansing and nourishing effects are lost. Manufacturers thought they could bypass this problem with long silicone chains. Unfortunately, the silicones built up, weighing down the hair and forming a thick layer around it. This had a negative effect on hair color as well as perms and the like.
Now the Kis Royals are based on a very different principle. The so-called van der Waals forces rely on an attraction between neutral molecules.
