What is K-Beauty?

So you do have to put in some effort for the perfect skin, but it's all worth it!

How do you apply K-Beauty to your Skincare routine?

The general rule in K Beauty is that after cleansing your skin, you start with the thinnest beauty product like an essence and end with the thickest product. By applying and patting layer upon layer, you get beautiful, glowing skin! It is important to keep the skin moist at all times and you should absolutely not use a towel.
We have created a general step-by-step plan so you know exactly what your new Korean skincare routine will look like. To make it a bit easier for you, we have also added some example products, but of course you are completely free to choose your own cleansers, exfoliants, toners, and creams!
Step 1: Remove eye makeup
Step 2: Double cleansing, first an oil-based cleanser and then one based on water. For an oil-based cleanser we recommend the IUNIK Calendula Cleansing Oil for a water-based cleanser you can use the IUNIK Centella Cleansing Foam use.
Step 3: Exfoliate the skin, for this we recommend a AHA or an BHA exfoliant. Which exfoliant is best suited for your skin type you can read in our blog: AEverything about exfoliating.
Step 4: Tone the skin. For toning the skin, you can for example use the Purito Centella Toner use.
Step 5: Next, apply an essence. The Purito Galactio Niacin Power Essence is a nice lightly nourishing essence.

Step 7: Applying a Serum or Ampoule.
