Which Schwarzkopf products contain protein?
There are some ingredients you should avoid for curly hair, but also products that are actually very good (for some hair types), like protein. But how do you know if protein is right for your hair? You can easily do a handy test!
Take a wet hair strand, pull it slightly apart and wrap it around your finger. Then watch carefully what happens. Does the hair break immediately or does it take a while? This shows the elasticity of your hair.
- The hair breaks almost immediately | This means that the elasticity is low and that a product without protein for your hair is recommended.
- The hair stretches a little, it does not break immediately | This shows that your hair has normal elasticity. You can therefore use products with and without protein.
- The hair does not break | This means that the elasticity is high. Products with protein is recommended.
Keep testing your hair for elasticity from time to time, because using or not using protein can change your hair.
