What is vegan skin care?
Vegan skincare does not contain any animal products and is always cruelty-free, but that does not mean that the reverse is also the case. Cruelty-free brands do not always have to be vegan and can therefore contain animal products. Since March 13, 2013, there has been a ban on animal testing throughout Europe. Unfortunately, this does not necessarily mean that all brands sold in Europe are actually animal-friendly. Ingredients purchased outside the EU can be tested on animals. In China, it is even mandatory to test care products on animals.
