Cleaning a pacifier doesn’t have to be a hassle – with the right routine, you can keep it fresh & fruity and looking good for a long time. And the good news is that you don’t need any fancy equipment or expensive cleaning supplies. Just a little bit of care and attention (like everything else in parenthood, really).

1. When first used
   Pour some boiled water over the pacifier while it is in a colander. Then let it dry on a clean towel. Do not immerse the pacifier or boil it – of course rubber does not like that.
   
   
2. Daily cleaning
   Rinse the pacifier with warm water after each use and let it dry thoroughly. This way you keep it hygienic without damaging the pacifier.
   
   
3. Replace regularly
   A pacifier that feels sticky, stretches or shows signs of damage? Time for a new one. On average, a replacement is recommended every 4 to 6 weeks, depending on how often you use it.
