Cleaning these natural rubber gems is thankfully very simple – as long as you do it the right Maner. They’re tough but sensitive to too high temperatures. So we handle them carefully.

1. First use Place the nipple in a colander and pour boiling water over it. Let it rest for a few minutes, then dry well on a clean cloth. Never boil or sterilise – the rubber won’t like that.
   
   
2. Daily cleaning Rinse the nipple well with warm water after each use and let it dry. This keeps it hygienic and safe.
   
   
3. When to replace? If the nipple feels sticky, stretched or has cracks, it’s time to change it. Usually lasts four to six weeks, depending on use.
   
   

That’s a common question, and the answer is Simple: it’s completely normal. The nipple is made of natural rubber latex, a pure material without synthetic layers. That’s why it smells a little like… well, rubber. Luckily, most babies actually like this and the scent fades significantly after a few uses.

If you don’t like it, you can always try a Silicone nipple, but note: they feel a bit different and not every baby likes them.
