As you may already know, it’s important to clean BIBS pacifiers regularly to keep them in good condition and protect your little one’s health. Below you’ll find all information on cleaning BIBS pacifiers, what you should and shouldn’t do. Check it out!

Step 1. Boil water in a kettle or small pan.

Step 2. Pour the boiled water into a bowl or pan, but make sure it is no longer boiling.

Step 3. Place the BIBS pacifiers in the hot water and soak for a maximum of five minutes.

Step 4. Remove the pacifiers from the water and let them dry on a clean towel.

Step 5.  Make sure not to give the pacifiers directly to your baby to avoid burns in the mouth.

For daily cleaning

• Use a colander: Place the pacifiers in a colander.
• Pour boiled water over them: Pour some boiled water over them. This is enough to kill bacteria without damaging the pacifiers.
• Do not boil: Avoid boiling the pacifiers, as the natural rubber can get damaged – and that’s the last thing you want

You might not expect it, but yes – this is very normal. It does not mean the pacifiers are faulty. It’s entirely normal for natural rubber to smell like rubber. It doesn’t have a synthetic coating, so that’s why you notice the smell. Silicone pacifiers don’t smell or taste, but of course, they are not natural. If your little one refuses the pacifier, this might be the reason. Then it’s wise to consider a different material, like the Silicone pacifiers.
