You might love the new Block Blue Mix pacifiers but want to know if the features match your other pacifiers you already have for your son. A pacifier can look lovely but must also be practical for your little one. We all know that ;)

Pacifiers are everyday items, meaning they are used a lot daily. So it's important to check them regularly for safety. Before use, always inspect pacifiers for wear, any indentations, changes in size or shape of the nipple, and of course, tears in the natural rubber. If you find any damage during your mini-check, do not use the BIBS pacifier and use another from your stash :)

If the BIBS pacifier is undamaged and used often, cleaning regularly is important. Before use, always sterilise the Studio Collection Block Blue pacifiers. Boil some water in a pot or kettle, then pour the boiled water into a pot or bowl—whichever you prefer. Place the natural rubber BIBS pacifier in it and leave it for a MAXIMUM of five minutes. Then let it cool, dry, and use it! Be careful not to give a hot pacifier to your baby, as it may cause burns, which you want to avoid.

For daily cleaning or sterilising, simply pour boiled water over the pacifier. Do not boil the pacifier in water! Boiling is NOT required.

Tip - Is your little boy or girl older than three months? Then you can also place the Pin & Block Blue Mix pacifiers in a colander or sieve and pour boiling water over them. This method is quicker and prevents water from accumulating inside the pacifier.

Note! Many parents boil BIBS pacifiers for five minutes following the National Health Council, but this causes the BIBS pacifier to break. BIBS pacifiers are made from natural rubber and are not suitable for boiling; high heat damages the nipple. Bacteria are effectively killed using the method described above Man, and the Pin & Block Sky Blue pacifiers remain unharmed.

UV or steam sterilizers also damage the natural rubber. So, don't use those.
