How do I use the BIBS Studio Collection - Block Baby Pink Pacifier Mix for my little one?
Pacifiers are used daily and often. That’s why it’s important to check regularly if they’re still in good condition. Always inspect pacifiers before use for wear, any edge impressions, changes in size or shape of the teat and, of course, cracks in the natural rubber. If you find any damage in your BIBS pacifier during your quick check, do not use it and replace it with one from your stock :)
How do I clean the BIBS Studio Collection Pacifiers?
If the BIBS pacifier is still in good condition and used frequently, it’s important to clean it regularly. Before use, always boil the Studio Collection Block Baby Pink pacifiers. Boil some water in a pot or kettle, then pour the boiled water into a pot or bowl of your choice. Place the natural rubber teat of the BIBS pacifier in the water and leave it in there for a MAXIMUM of five minutes. Then let it cool, dry and it’s ready to use! Be careful not to give your baby a hot pacifier to avoid burning their mouth.
For daily cleaning or sterilising, simply pour boiled water over the pacifier. Do NOT boil the pacifier itself! So, boiling the pacifier is NOT necessary.
Tip - Is your little boy or girl older than three months? You can also put the Pin & Block Baby Pink pacifiers in a colander or sieve and pour boiling water over them. This is faster and prevents water from pooling inside the pacifier.
Important! Parents often boil BIBS pacifiers for five minutes following the National Health Board’s advice; however, this damages the pacifier. BIBS pacifiers are made of natural rubber and are not suitable for boiling as the heat harms the teat. The bacteria are killed as described above by boiling water, and the Pin & Block Sky Blue pacifiers remain intact.
UV or steam sterilizers also damage the natural rubber. So, avoid using those.
