How do I use the BIBS Studio Collection - Block Sand Pacifiers Mix for my little one?
Pacifiers are real everyday items, meaning they are used a lot and every day. So it’s important to regularly check them to ensure they’re still good. Always inspect the pacifiers for wear, any edge marks, or changes in size or shape of the nipple, and of course any cracks in the natural rubber before use. If you find damage during your little check, do not use that BIBS pacifier anymore and grab another from your stash :)
How do I clean the BIBS Studio Collection Pacifiers?
If the BIBS pacifier looks fine and is well used, it's important to clean it regularly. Before use, always boil the Studio Collection Block Sand pacifiers. Boil some water in a pot or kettle; once boiled, pour the hot water into a pot or bowl of your choice. Place the natural rubber BIBS pacifier in it and leave it for MAXIMUM five minutes in the water. Then let it cool, dry, and use it! Be careful not to give the hot pacifier to your baby, as this can cause a burnt mouth, and you definitely want to avoid that.
For daily cleaning or sterilising, simply pour boiled water over the pacifier. Do NOT boil the pacifier directly! So boiling is NOT necessary.
Tip - Is your little boy or girl older than three months? You can also place the Pin & Block Sand Mix pacifiers in a colander or sieve and pour boiling water over them. This method is quicker, and it also prevents water from collecting inside the pacifier.
Note! Parents often boil BIBS pacifiers for five minutes because they follow the National Health Council. However, this causes damaged BIBS pacifiers. BIBS pacifiers are made from natural rubber and are not suitable for boiling; the heat damages the nipple. Bacteria are effectively killed using the method described above Manier, and the Pin & Block Sky Blue pacifiers remain undamaged.
UV or steam sterilizers also damage the natural rubber. So avoid using them.
