Pacifiers are practical items, so it’s important to check them regularly to ensure they’re still safe. Before each use, inspect the pacifier for wear, any edge marks, changes in size or shape of the nipple, and of course any tears in the natural rubber. If you find any damage during your mini-inspection, do not use the BIBS pacifier anymore and take another from your stash :)
How do I clean the BIBS Studio Collection Pacifiers?
If the BIBS pacifier is in good condition and used frequently, it’s important to clean it regularly. Before use, always boil the Studio Collection Jasmine pacifiers. Boil some water in a pan or kettle, then pour the boiled water into a pot or bowl—whichever you prefer. Place the BIBS natural rubber nipple in the water and leave it for a MAXIMUM of five minutes. Then let it cool, dry, and it’s ready to use! Be careful not to give your baby the hot pacifier, as that can cause burns and you definitely want to avoid that.
For daily cleaning or sterilising, simply pour boiled water over the pacifier. Do not boil the pacifier itself! So, boiling the pacifier is NOT necessary daily.
