You’ll probably find the new Liberty Bobo soothers brilliant, and we totally agree! We really think they’re adorable too! They match perfectly with cute summer dresses ♡ However, you’ll want to double-check to make sure the features match those of the other soothers you use for your little one. A soother can be beautiful, but it also needs to be practical for your child.

BIBS soothers are used a lot – they’re basically the definition of a practical item ;) That’s why it’s important to always check the soothers before giving them to your son or daughter. Look for signs of wear, any edge marks, or changes in the size or shape of the cute teat. Don’t forget to check the natural rubber for small cracks. If you find anything, it’s important to throw the soother away and grab a new one from your collection. Having a small stock is handy – you never know when you’ll need a replacement :)

If the Bobo Latex soothers are in normal condition and used frequently, it’s important to clean them regularly. This is especially recommended if you have a newborn ♡ Before using the soothers, always clean them first. It’s very easy and quick. Boil water in a kettle or saucepan; once boiling, you can pour the hot water over the soothers in a colander or pour it into a bowl – whichever you find easiest. Then place the natural rubber soothers in the boiling water for a MAXIMUM of five minutes. To preserve the soothers, better keep it to one to three minutes. By then, all bacteria will be killed ;) Then let the soothers cool on a cloth or something similar, or you can dry them with a tea towel first. Just be careful not to give the hot soother to your son or daughter! That could burn their mouth, and you definitely don’t want that!

For daily cleaning or sterilising, just pour boiled water over the soother. Do not boil the soother inside the water! Boiling is NOT necessary and not recommended for natural rubber. This advice was always for silicone soothers but is not needed here. Bacteria are killed in a very short time :) And that’s the whole point of cleaning.
