But you’ll want to double-check to see if the features match your other pacifiers for your son or daughter. A pacifier can be beautiful but must also be practical for your little one.

BIBS pacifiers are widely used, almost the definition of a practical item ;) That’s exactly why you should always check the pacifiers before giving them to your son or daughter. Look for wear and tear, any marks on the edges, or changes in size or shape of the cute teat. Don’t forget to check the natural rubber for small cracks. If you find anything, it’s important to throw the pacifier away and grab a new one from your collection. So, having a small stock is handy. You never know when you need a new pacifier :)

If the June Blossom & Blush pacifiers are in normal condition and used often, it’s important to clean them regularly. This is especially recommended if you have a newborn ♡ Always clean the pacifiers before use. It’s quick and easy: boil some water in a kettle or saucepan, and once boiling, pour the hot water over the pacifiers in a colander or into a bowl – whichever suits you. Then place the natural rubber pacifiers in the hot water for MAXIMUM five minutes. For preserving the pacifiers, one to three minutes is better. This also kills all bacteria ;) Then let the pacifiers cool on a cloth or something similar. You can also dry them with a tea towel. Just be careful not to give the hot pacifier to your little one! Otherwise, they might burn their mouth and you don’t want that!

For daily cleaning or sterilising, simply pour boiled water over the pacifier. Do not boil the pacifier in water! Boiling is NOT necessary and not recommended due to the natural rubber. This advice was common for silicone pacifiers but isn’t needed here. In a very short time, all bacteria will be killed :) And that’s the whole purpose of cleaning.
