1. Wash your hair and gently pat dry with a microfiber towel or an old T-shirt.
2. Apply a generous amount of Bouclème Curl Conditioner 300 ml to your wet hair, massage well, then rinse thoroughly. For very dry or thick hair, leave a small amount in.
3. Distribute a small amount of Bouclème Curl Cream 300 ml through your wet hair. This nourishes and creates the Si base for your curls.
4. Then work the Bouclème Curl Defining Gel 300 ml through your hair. Spread evenly and gently scrunch your curls upwards.
5. Allow your hair to air dry or use a diffuser on a low setting.
6. Once dry, gently scrunch your curls to loosen them.

If you have very thick or heavy curly hair and find the gel doesn’t provide enough hold, the Curls Redefined Super Hold Styling Gel offers stronger grip and is a natural addition for firmer hold.

If you want a light gel for wavy hair without cast, the Curl Defining Gel in this set is just what you need. The hold is light to medium, meaning your curls look natural and feel soft. For more hold, you can combine the gel with the Super Hold Styler. If you’re unsure whether the Bouclème Curls Redefined Set suits your hair: it’s best for type two and three curls. For very tight or coily hair, a richer range like SheaMoisture might be better.

Yes. All three products are free of sulphates and non-water-soluble Siicons. This makes them suitable for the Curly Girl Method, and they are also offered as CG-friendly on specialised curl websites.

The conditioner, Cream and gel do contain essential oils and fragrance ingredients. If you have a sensitive scalp or prefer fragrance-free, this set might be less suitable; consider Bouclème’s fragrance-free options instead.

Yes, you can. For dry or thicker hair, don’t rinse the conditioner out completely and leave a little in for extra hydration. Then apply the Cream and gel as usual.

For fine hair, it’s better to rinse the conditioner out fully. Too much product left in can weigh hair down or flatten it. Just try and see what works best for your hair.

Apply the Cream through your wet hair first for nourishment and a soft Si base. Then add the gel for definition and hold. Using the Cream first makes your curls feel softer after drying and prevents the gel from looking stiff.
