1. Wet your face with lukewarm water.

Not ideal. This Cleanser is best for oily and combination skin. For dry or sensitive skin it can be too harsh: the combination of salicylic acid, foaming cleansers and essential oils like Tea Tree and lemon peel extract can cause tightness or irritation for some. Use once daily at most. Just starting? Begin with three times a week and build up gradually. Your skin needs time to adjust to salicylic acid. In the first weeks, some extra spots might appear temporarily. That’s normal and will fade. Already using other acid or Retinol products? Alternate with this Cleanser to avoid overloading your skin.

It helps but is not the whole story. As a rinse-off product, salicylic acid doesn't stay on your skin long compared to leave-on products. For daily maintenance and less shine, it works well.
