Goldwell Elumen is a high-quality, oxidation-free permanent hair colour that works based on a magnetic effect. To achieve the best results, it's important to follow the specific steps, including pre- and post-treatment.
Step-by-step guide to using Goldwell Elumen

1. Preparation (Prepare)
Wash hair with a gentle shampoo and towel-dry.
Apply Elumen Prepare to the hair, especially if it is bleached, damaged, or porous. This boosts colour intensity and longevity.
Dry hair completely. Elumen colour must be applied to dry hair for best results. 

2. Applying the Colour
Wear gloves to prevent staining the skin.
Apply Elumen hair colour evenly with a brush and bowl or the special dosing bottle.
Saturate hair fully for even coverage. 

 
3. Processing Time-
Without heat: Leave colour on for thirty minutes.
With heat (e.g. under a hood dryer): Leave colour on for twenty minutes. 

4. Rinsing 
Rinse hair thoroughly with water. It is recommended to use Elumen Wash (special shampoo) to remove excess pigments.
Towel-dry hair. 

 
5. Colour Sealing 
Apply Elumen Lock evenly to towel-dried hair (approx. 40 ml).
Leave on for five minutes.
Rinse hair thoroughly.
Tip: Optionally use Elumen Care or Treat for extra nourishment. 

 Important Tips
Elumen Lock is essential to reduce colour fading and extend colour life.
If the colour is too intense, mix with Elumen Clear to soften it.
Use Elumen Clean to remove any stains from the skin.
Elumen does not work well if hair is oily; ensure clean, dry hair before colouring.
