The Woodwick Fireside Ellipse Candle burns best when you care for it with love and attention. This way, you get the most out of this luxurious scented candle from Woodwick:

1. When using for the first time, let the entire top layer melt to prevent tunneling.

2. Preferably burn the candle for 3 to 4 hours at a time, but never longer than 6 hours consecutively.

3. With Ellipse candles, the wick does not need to be trimmed regularly. Only do this if the flame grows taller than 25mm or when the candle starts to smoke.

4. Place the candle on a stable, flat surface, away from drafts.

5. Stop burning when there is 1 cm of wax left at the bottom.

Tip: If you need to trim the wick, carefully extinguish the candle and let the wick and wax cool. Then gently break off the burnt edges to about 6 mm and remove all residue before relighting the candle.
