The Woodwick Fireside Ellipse Candle - 454gr burns best when you care for it with attention and love. Get the most out of this luxury Woodwick candle:
Allow the full top layer to melt on first use to prevent tunnelling.
Burn the candle preferably for three to four hours at a time, but never longer than six hours straight.
Ellipse candles usually don’t need trimming. Only trim the wick if the flame grows higher than 25mm or if the candle starts to smoke.
Place the candle on a stable, flat surface away from drafts.
Stop burning when there is about 1 cm wax left at the bottom.
Tip: If you do need to trim the wick, gently extinguish the candle and let the wick and wax cool. Then carefully remove the burnt edges down to roughly 6 mm and clear away any debris before relighting.
