You get the best out of the Woodwick Fireside Large Candle when you use it properly. This not only extends the life of your Woodwick candle but also maintains optimal scent distribution:

1. Allow the top layer of wax to fully melt during the first use.

2. Burn the candle for 3–4 hours at a time, but no longer than 6 hours consecutively.

3. Place the candle on a stable, flat surface, away from drafts.

4. Stop burning as soon as there is only 1 cm of wax left.

Tip: If you need to trim the wick, gently extinguish the candle and let the wick and wax cool. Then carefully break off the burnt edges to about 6 mm and remove all debris before relighting the candle.
