How do I use the MAE Thermal Brush?
Blow-dry your hair towel-dry before starting. Use heat protection for fine or damaged hair.
Choose your temperature: start at setting one or two for fine hair, select a higher setting for thick or curly hair.
Divide your hair into horizontal sections. Start at the bottom and work upwards.
Wrap a strand around the brush head and slowly pull it down while turning the brush.
Repeat on each strand until you get the desired look. For extra volume, pull the brush upwards at the roots.

If you have fine or lightly damaged hair, use setting one or two (from 130°C) always with heat protection. For thick, stubborn or curly hair, use the higher settings to get the job done. Frizzy, dry or coloured hair benefits extra from the ion technology, which helps restore your hair’s moisture balance. Very short hair is the only exception: above the chin the brush head can’t grip enough hair to create sufficient tension.
Does the MAE Thermal Brush damage my hair less than a straightener?
Yes, a thermal brush is generally gentler on your hair than a straightener. A straightener clamps your hair at one point with direct heat. The MAE Thermal Brush distributes heat through ceramic and airflow along the entire strand, so you avoid heat spikes of Extreme.
Still, if you use the highest setting without heat protection, your hair can get damaged. For fine or damaged hair, keep the temperature low and always use a protective Spray or mousse. This way you get the best results without stressing your hair.
