Always use this cool toner from Matrix in combination with steps 1 and 2 of the Lift & Tone System.

Mix the toner with the recommended Matrix Cream Developer (3%, 6%, 9% or 12%). When applying to the scalp, never use the 12% developer and opt for a lower percentage and use in combination with the Matrix Lift Tone Powder . Allow the mixture to work for up to 50 minutes if no heat is used. When heat is added, the hair will lighten within 2 to 10 minutes. Rinse the mixture thoroughly.
