    The Matrix Tonal Control Gel Toner is pre-bonded and can be used for various applications such as gloss treatments, strengthening hair color, toning after lightening, overlays, and much more! The Pre-bonded toner gives you, as the name suggests, control over the color result. You see the color gradually develop during the oxidation process so you can see exactly when to rinse out the toner. The color result remains visible for a long time and lasts up to 24 washes. Thanks to the ammonia-free and Vegan formula, your hair and the environment are safe!

    How do you use the Matrix Tonal Control Gel Toner?

    The Matrix Tonal Control Gel Toner is a professional product, so we recommend that you only use the toner if you have the proper experience and read the leaflet carefully beforehand.

    The Gel Toner from Matrix use in combination with the Matrix Cream Developer 10V. The mixing ratio depends on the application. A common mixing ratio is 1:1. Mix the developer and toner in a non-metallic bowl until homogeneous and apply to dry or towel-dried hair. Leave the hair color on for a maximum of 20 minutes (if you do not use heat). Meanwhile, watch how the color develops; by closely monitoring the real-time oxidation, you know exactly when the desired result is achieved and you can rinse the hair. 

    Tip: Do you suffer from very porous or damaged hair? Spray first the Spray Matrix Insta Cure Anti-Breakage Porosity Spray about the lengths and ends before you start applying Tonal Control.
