    The Matrix Tonal Control Gel Toner is pre-bonded and can be used for various applications such as shine treatments, strengthening hair color, toning after lightening, overlays and much more! The Pre-bonded toner, as the name suggests, gives you control over the color result. You will see the color gradually develop during the oxidation process so you can see exactly when to rinse out the toner. The color result remains visible for a long time and remains visible for up to 24 washes. Thanks to the ammonia-free and vegan formula, your hair and the environment are safe!

    How do you use the Matrix Tonal Control Gel Toner?

    The Matrix Tonal Control Gel Toner is a professional product and we therefore recommend that you only use the toner if you have the right experience and that you read the package leaflet carefully beforehand.

    You use the Gel Toner from Matrix in combination with the Matrix Cream Developer 10V. The mixing ratio depends on the application. A common mixing ratio is 1:1. Mix the developer and toner in a non-metallic bowl until a homogeneous mass and apply to dry or towel-dried hair. Let the hair color work for a maximum of 20 minutes (if you do not use heat). In the meantime, watch how the color develops. By keeping a close eye on the real-time oxidation, you know exactly when the desired result has been achieved and you can rinse the hair.

    Tip: Do you suffer from very porous or damaged hair? Then first spray the Matrix Insta Cure Anti-Breakage Porosity Spray over the lengths and ends before you start applying Tonal Control.
