Use No.3 on towel-dried hair. Apply a generous amount from mid-lengths to ends. Comb through once to distribute the Hair Perfector evenly. Leave in for 10 minutes. Then rinse out and follow with the Olaplex Shampoo and Olaplex Conditioner.

The main ingredient in this product is bis-aminopropyl diglycol dimaleate. Don’t worry about the scientific name – here’s what it does:

Your hair is mostly made of the protein keratin. This protein is a chain of amino acids inside each strand. When protein levels are good and your hair isn’t damaged, this chain is strong, giving you strong hair. Enough protein keeps your hair strong. When hair is damaged, this chain breaks, causing gaps and damage. For example, bleaching breaks this chain. This ingredient helps amino acids link again, repairing the chain to strengthen your hair.
