How to use the Olaplex Hair Repair & Shine Set
Massage No. 4 Bond Maintenance Shampoo (250 ml) into wet hair and rinse thoroughly.
Apply No. 5 Bond Maintenance Conditioner (250 ml) to lengths and ends. Leave for one to three minutes then rinse well.
Gently towel-dry your hair. It doesn’t need to be completely dry.
Put two to three drops of No. 7 Bonding Oil (30 ml) in your palm and distribute through your hair. You can style right away.
Want to take your routine further? Use the Hair Perfector No.3 before washing as a kind of mask. Leave it on damp hair, then wash out with No. 4. This treats damage more deeply.
Why does this set work so well on damaged hair?
Your hair feels softer from the first wash and is easier to comb. You’ll notice this difference right when rinsing out the conditioner. No. 7 smooths and adds shine to your hair, keeping frizz at bay. Good Olaplex hair care works cumulatively: the more you follow the routine, the better the result.
Does the No. 7 Bonding Oil rinse out?
No, you don’t rinse out No. 7. Apply it on damp or dry hair and leave it in. Use two to three drops and distribute well before styling. The oil protects your hair from heat up to 232 °C, according to Olaplex.
Should the No. 5 conditioner be rinsed out?
Yes, No. 5 Bond Maintenance Conditioner is a rinse-out conditioner. Apply it to lengths and ends after washing, leave in for a while, then rinse well.
