Redken Color Gels Oils are professionally applied by hairdressers and colorists. The product is mixed with a specific developer (such as Redken Pro-Oxide) to achieve the right color depth and coverage. Do you want to color at home? Then get good advice or choose a salon that works with Redken.

Step 1: Mix 1 part REdken Color Gel Oils with 1 part developer (1:1). Stir until you have a smooth, creamy texture.
 

• 6% for shine and freshening
• 9% for gray coverage
• 12% for light up
  
  

Step 2: Apply Color - Section your hair and work from roots to ends. Use a brush for precision or a bottle for speed. Make sure every strand is well coated.

Step 3: Let the color work for 20 to 40 minutes

• 20 min for a colour boost
• 35–40 min for intense grey coverage or colour correction
  
  

Step 4: Rinse hair until water runs clear. Follow with a color-safe shampoo like Redken Acidic Color Gloss and finish with conditioner.
