1. Make sure your hair is washed and towel-dried.
2. Put on gloves before you start; the colour stains skin and clothes.
3. Work the cream evenly through your hair, covering all areas well.
4. Leave it on for twenty minutes. For a more intense colour, leave it up to thirty minutes.
5. Rinse well with cold or lukewarm water afterwards.

Want a softer Pastelblue instead of an intense shade? Mix Wella CR Color Fresh New Blue - 60ml with Color Fresh Create Tomorrow Clear. The more Clear you add, the lighter the result. Leave on for about five to ten minutes instead.

The colour sticks directly to the outside of your hair without changing it from the inside. That’s why this ammonia-free hair dye works best on light blonde or bleached hair, where the pigments show well. It barely shows on dark hair. The colour stays visible for around twenty washes. How long exactly depends on how often you wash your hair and what shampoo you use. Washing daily with a strong shampoo and warm water will fade the colour faster. If you use a gentle shampoo and cold water, the colour will stay fresh longer. To refresh the blue in between, use the Color Fresh Blue Mask.

On untreated dark hair, the colour is hardly visible. Wella Color Fresh New Blue lays pigment on top of your existing hair colour but doesn’t lighten the hair. For a visible blue, you need light hair, preferably level eight or lighter. Want blue on dark hair? Then first bleach with, for example, Blondor Freelights Bleach Powder before applying the colour.

It’s gentler than most perManmanent dyes. It contains no ammonia and needs no oxidant, so the hair structure isn’t altered from within. The formula doesn’t have special repairing properties, so if your hair is already damaged from bleaching, extra care is wise. Use a nourishing hair mask alongside your colour treatment. Always wear gloves and protect your clothes and skin since the direct pigments stain quickly.
