How do I use Kérastase Curl Manifesto?
Kérastase believes in customised, personalised hair routines. Below we’ve described 3 routines for 3 different curl types. Ultimately, there are no rules – it’s about experimenting to find what works best for your curls!
Curly hair
- Step 1: Wash your curls with the hydrating shampoo, which cleanses your scalp and hair while also deeply nourishing.
- Step 2: Massage the Curl Manifesto Conditioner into the lengths of your hair. Leave it to absorb well so the hair fibres can soak up the nourishing ingredients. (leave on for 3 to 5 minutes)
- Step 3: Apply Curl Manifesto Crème de Jour Fondamentale Leave-In Cream onto towel-dried hair. The leave-in makes your hair manageable, reduces frizz, and is enriched with heat protection. This encourages more defined curls.
- Step 4: Then take 2 to 4 pumps of Gelée Curl Contour. Scrunch and define your curls carefully with your fingers. This gel is specially made to shape and define your curls.
- Step 5: Between washes, refresh your curl shape with Kérastase Curl Manifesto Absolu Refreshing Spray. Apply the Spray to mid-lengths and ends to tighten curls and give them a lively boost!
Very curly hair & afro hair
- Step 1: Wash your curls with the hydrating shampoo, which cleanses your scalp and hair while deeply nourishing.
- Step 2: Treat your curls weekly or after each wash with the Curl Manifesto Mask. Apply the mask to your hair ends, leave it on well, then rinse thoroughly.
- Step 3: Apply Curl Manifesto Crème de Jour Fondamentale Leave-In Cream onto towel-dried hair. The leave-in makes hair manageable, reduces frizz, and has heat protection. It encourages more defined curls.
- Step 4: Then take 2 to 4 pumps of Gelée Curl Contour. Scrunch and define your curls carefully with your fingers. This gel is designed to give definition and shape.
- Step 5: Step 5: Between washes, refresh your curl shape with Kérastase Curl Manifesto Absolu Refreshing Spray. Apply the Spray to mid-lengths and ends to tighten curls and give them a lively boost!
- For afro hair, we recommend regularly using the Curl Manifesto oil to hydrate your curls. This can also be done overnight.
