You probably remember those old colourful gels from the chemist. Pastes come in many varieties, so there’s always one for your thick hair. Want lots of shine, or prefer matte? Need strong hold or something lighter? The options within hair pastes are broad. Simply put, hair paste is for definition, emphasis, and hold.
What are the characteristic features of Hair Paste?

Hair paste is water-based, so it washes out easily. This explains why hair paste usually creates a Matte look, but that’s not all.
The water base means no build-up, protecting your hair follicles from damage. Hair Paste is great for short hair, especially if you want texture with a touch of hold. To achieve this, apply the Paste on dry strands. For a flexible hold, apply it on dry or wet hair, but you’ll get slightly stronger hold on damp hair.
