Lansinoh HPA Lanolin Nipple Cream is a cream made from 100% pure hypoallergenic lanolin (purified wool fat). The lanolin is often whiter than other brands, this is because the lanolin has been cleaned naturally more often. Which means that it contains fewer harmful substances than other 100% natural lanolin. This costs a little more, because the nipple cream is cleaned more intensely, but this gives you a purer product. This cream is multi-use, because you can actually use it on everything. Lansinoh Organic Nipple Balm is a balm that can actually be used for multiple purposes. This balm is also 100% natural and is ideal for sensitive nipples, but also hydrates tight skin. The balm can be used in the pre-natal period, for tight skin and also after childbirth. This balm is less greasy than lanolin nipple cream, but is more usable.
If you look at both, they are both great. If you are really looking for a very nice nipple cream for sore nipples, then you will end up with the HPA Lanolin & the nipple balm is slightly more for general use.
