And what tools and products do you need? Want to learn how to style your hair like our colleague Ingrid? Read on for Ingrid's ultimate styling routine. Ready in 15 minutes!
Step 1: Cleanse your hair
If you have long locks, we recommend not washing too often. This keeps your hair from feeling even drier. It’s important to use the right products. Use a lightweight shampoo and conditioner, like the Redken High Rise Volume Set. These products add volume, strengthen, and give shine.
Step 2: Care for your hair the right Man way
Besides shampoo and conditioner, a nourishing mask is essential. Masks nourish and hydrate your hair deeply for softer, stronger hair and provide more intenSiive care than conditioner.
Use the mask after washing your hair with shampoo. Why? Shampoo opens your hair cuticles so the nourishing ingredients absorb properly. Plus, a mask helps close the cuticles again, leaving your hair feeling smooth.

Step 3: Time to blow-dry!

Step 4: Section your hair
Is your hair 75% dry? Then start sectioning it. How you do this depends on your hair thickness. Ingrid advises small sections so the blow-dry brush or dryer can reach the hair easily and dry it faster. Once this is done, you’re ready for step five!
Step 5: Create volume with the blow-dry brush
Polish your hair with a blow-dry brush by running it through your hair for a few minutes. To create volume, brush against the hair direction. Then gently let it cool for one to two minutes. After cooling, run your hand through your hair. Ingrid prefers these blow-dry brushes:

Step 6: Style your hair with a curling iron
Prefer to work with a curling iron? That works too! Do you have a curling iron with adjustable heat? A must-have for curling since different hair types need different temperatures. Avoid grabbing too thick sections. And remember: the larger your curling iron, the bigger sections you can style.
