Make sure your hair is dry and always use a heat protector when styling with heat tools. 

Once you’ve applied the heat protector you can start styling. Divide your hair into sections to smooth each strand carefully. Take a medium section and clamp the straightener near the roots. Keep enough distance from your scalp to avoid burns. Slowly glide the straightener downwards with a steady motion. Do this for each section for a beautiful, sleek finish.
