Immediately after birth, all babies receive 1,000 mcg of vitamin K. Babies cannot produce enough vitamin K themselves during the first few months, even though these vitamins are essential for bone development, cell division, and the immune system, among other things.
Vitamin K2 is found in foods of animal origin. Our Vitamin K drops are formulated not only with vitamin K2 but also with vitamin K1. This is quite unique because most nutritional supplements only use vitamin K1, while K2 is just as important!
How do I use Vitakruid Vitamin K Baby?
The dose of vitamin K your baby receives from the midwife at birth is sufficient for the first week. After that, it's recommended to give your little one 150 mcg of vitamin K daily from day 8 until the end of month 3.
Give your baby four drops of Vitamin K per day, do not exceed the daily dose.
