Vacation’s over, the alarm’s back on and... what was your morning routine again? The switch from sleeping in to “help, I have to be at the office by 8:30” always takes some adjusting. And especially: how do you look like you’ve got it all under control in no time?

Spoiler: it really doesn’t have to be with a strict schedule or 100 steps. With a little preparation, you’ll be fresh and ready for work in no time. Even if you secretly hit snooze three times already.

 

1. Starting the night before is key

Morning stress often starts the night before. So if you know you have little time (or just don’t feel like rushing), handle it smartly:

  • Washing hair? Do it in the evening. That way you avoid wet-hair drama in the morning and you can also create an overnight hair look.
  • No time or energy to wash? Then spray some dry shampoo in your hair at night. While you sleep, the dry shampoo does its job and you wake up feeling fresh. No white residue, no hassle in the morning.
  • Extra glow? Use a little self-tanner for your face. This way you wake up with a fresh, sun-kissed tint! Foundation? You don’t need it!
  • Choosing an outfit in the morning = chaos. Lay out your outfit in advance. Including accessories, shoes, and bag. Trust me: the next morning you’ll be so grateful to yourself.

 

2. Wake up & make-up in a few minutes

Don’t feel like (or have time for) a long makeup routine in the morning?
