First of all, the complex contains all eight forms of vitamin E in their most natural forms. The natural form of a vitamin is best absorbed by the body. The eight forms can be divided into four tocopherols and four tocotrienols. The different forms enhance each other's effects, which is why all eight have been added to the formula. Tocotrienols are generally less common in food, which can lead to an imbalance in the body, while they are actually more easily absorbed by the body thanks to their shorter and more flexible molecular structure. For this reason, Vitakruid selected EVNol SupraBio™, a tocotrienol complex that is more easily absorbed by the body. This is because SupraBio™ reduces the size of vitamin E compounds, allowing the fat particles to be better absorbed in the gastrointestinal tract. This results in a 250% better absorption. To complete the complex, vitamin C has been added to the soft gel. Vitamin C acts as an antioxidant for vitamin E and converts vitamin E into its active form.
