How do you use a Jade Facial Roller?
- First of all, clean your face and the facial roller(!)
- Put a few dropsof facial oilorfacial serumof your choice on your (clean!) fingertips and spread it over your face.
- The best way to use the jade roller varies from place to place. You always roll from the inside out. This way you direct the waste in the right direction.
- Forehead.Start the process by rolling from the center of your forehead, at your hairline. Then roll the jade roller towards your temples. Repeat this until you've covered your entire forehead.
- Eyes and eyebrows.Roll the jade roller under your eyes from the inside out, towards your temples. Repeat this movement over your eyelid and eyebrows.
- Cheeks.Place the jade roller on your nose and roll over your cheekbones and cheeks to your ear. Keep repeating this until you've got both cheeks.
- Lips.Start rolling in the center of your lips and then roll the facial roller outward toward your ear. Then do this for the other side as well.
- Jawline.Start at the center of your chin and roll the jade roller over your jaw towards your ear. Repeat this on the other side as well.
- Neck.Place the jade roller under your chin and roll down, over your neck, towards your collarbone.
- Clean the jade facial roller thoroughly afterwards for next use!
How do you use a Gua Sha?
- First of all, clean your face and the Gua Sha.
- Then use (after applying the Jade Roller) the Jade Gua Sha.
- Put a few dropsof facial oilorfacial serumof your choice on your (clean!) fingertips and spread it over your face.
- Hold the Gua Sha flat against the face, starting at the forehead. Make movements with gentle but firm pressure, starting from the eyebrows towards the hairline.
- Repeat the same movements over the cheeks, then glide from the nostril to the ear in an outward motion.
- Continue to the jaw with the end of the Gua Sha with the cavity of the heart. Start at the chin and work up to the ear.
- Gently massage under the ear with the ends of the Gua Sha to releasetension.
- For the eyes, gently move the Gua Sha from the inner corner of the eye to the temple. Because this area is very sensitive, it is important to apply light pressure.
- Finish with the neck, moving from bottom to top for strengthening and from top to bottom. Then clean the Gua Sha!
During and after the massage, your facial skin may become red, which is completely normal! This shows that the Gua Sha massage has been performed properly and thus stimulates blood circulation. Make sure that the repeated movements are not performed too hard, to avoid irritation of the skin.
For optimal results,we recommend repeating each movement 3 to 5 times per part of the face.
