What is the difference between a regular mascara and a waterproof mascara?
How annoying: you just put on mascara and it starts to rain. 'Normal' mascara dissolves in water, so also in rain. This will cause the mascara to run. The solution: waterproof mascara. With waterproof mascara you no longer have to be afraid of rain showers, because the waterproof mascara stays firmly on your lashes! The fact that the waterproof mascara stays firmly on your eyelashes can also be experienced as a disadvantage. Regular mascara is easier to remove, sometimes water is enough. Removing waterproof mascara with water is not possible, you need eye make-up remover for this. With a waterproof mascara, unfortunately, some mascara can remain on your eyelashes, which can damage your eyelashes or irritate the thin skin around your eyes. What is a mascara primer?
You've probably heard of a face primer that ensures that your makeup stays in place all day, but there is also a mascara primer. A mascara primer takes care of your lashes and enhances the effect of your mascara. This way your eyelashes become even longer and fuller. It also ensures that your mascara stays longer. The mascara primer has even more advantages:
- With the mascara primer you can apply the mascara more easily and it stays longer.
- If you have straight lashes, the mascara primer will provide more curl.
- The fibers in the primer make your eyelashes longer and fuller.
- A mascara primer moisturizes your lashes and after using a primer for a long time, it strengthens your lashes and makes them healthier.
- The mascara primer already provides a layer, so you have to use less mascara.
How do I use a mascara primer?
First use a mascara primer and let your lashes dry for 30 seconds before applying mascara. You use the mascara primer the same as mascara. You might have a look at these primers:
With which eyeliner can I create a beautiful wing?
There are different types of eyeliners. It is best to use a liquid eyeliner to create a beautiful wing. Mistakes are easy to remove, because the eyeliner remains wet for a while after application, so you can easily work with a cotton swab. This allows you to create your perfect wing! Which eyeliner can I blend with my eyeshadow?
Do you find a tight, black line above your eye just a bit too intense? Then you can also choose to blend your eyeliner. This makes the effect a bit softer and you can let the eyeliner flow nicely with your eyeshadow. It is best to use a kohl eyeliner for this. A liquid eyeliner is not easily blendable. A kohl eyeliner does not dry out quickly and is therefore perfectly suited for blending.
How can I grow my eyelashes naturally?
We go to great lengths to make our eyelashes pop. What many ladies want is long eyelashes, but not everyone wants to use eyelash serums that contain hormone ingredients. Not at all when you are pregnant, luckily there is a natural way we can grow our eyelashes!
