What types of hair care is there?
Shampoo:How, with what and how often you wash your hair is essential for a healthy hair condition. A mild cleansing to remove excess grease, product residue and dirt from the scalp is a must. In addition, it is important to choose a shampoo that meets the needs of your hair.

However, this does not mean that these ingredients should not be on the ingredient list at all, but at least in small amounts.
Conditioner:'Touse conditioner or not'is still a common point of discussion. We (and most hairdressers) recommend that you absolutely use conditioner. Conditioner absolutely does not have to weigh down your hair and it will not make your hair greasy if you apply it along the length of your hair.
Conditioner is step 2 of the haircare routine. Conditioner (as you may already know) is the indispensable follow-up to the shampoo. Shampoo ensures that your hair scales are open. Hair mask:A hair mask is an important product for intensive care of needs. A mask pulls deep into the hair. With a hair mask you can easily restore (also chemically) damaged hair. The blue/purple pigments in silver shampoo ensure that yellow and warm undertones are neutralized. This way you can maintain your cool blonde/grey color between hairdressing appointments. How do my hair stay healthy?
Enough about shampoos and hair masks! There are many more tips & tricks for taking care of your hair. We have listed a few general tips about hair care below:
- Do not wash your hair too often (2 to 3 times a week)

Which ingredients should I avoid as much as possible?
There are a number of ingredients that we recommend avoiding as much as possible. This does not mean that they should never be on the ingredient list at all. Here's our standard list of ingredients we recommend avoiding:
- Sulfates (SLES/SLS) - This ingredient is often found in foaming products. Sulfates create a foaming effect. But at the same time, it cleans the hair so intensely that all natural essential oils are also removed. This can result in dry/damaged hair.
- Silicones (-cone -xane- or -conol) - Silicones are added to give the hair a shiny layer. Initially, your hair will actually shine because of the silicone. But after a while, this layer builds itself up, so that the hair no longer takes care and your hair becomes dull.
- Mineral oil - The word “oil” can be misleading. Oil is often good for your hair. But mineral oil causes the natural oil to disappear from the hair and forms a layer around your hair. This layer ensures that the hair can no longer ventilate.
- Parabens - There is still a lot of fuss about parabens. But we do recommend avoiding parabens as much as possible. Parabens can cause an allergic reaction. There are also studies linking parabens to breast cancer. But there is no real proof yet.
- Alcohol - not all alcohols are bad for your hair. But a number of alcohols make your hair dry and are best avoided:
