What's in the True Gray Toners formula?

The formula has a commitment-free and damage-free finish due to the neutral pH value of 7. In addition, the structure of the hair is supported, so that the toners are as soft on the hair as pure water. Finally, the toners are formulated without ammonia, ethanolamine, perfume and animal ingredients.

How do I use the Wella True Gray Toner?

Use the toner together with the True Gray Activator . The mixing ratio with the toner and activator is 1:1. Apply it to dry hair and distribute the product evenly over all or parts of the hair. The processing time is 30 minutes.

During the exposure time, the toners become darker, this does not affect the end result. Trust the process!

What color toners does the Wella True Gray have?

Below you will find the different colors of the toners. This way you can easily see which toner best suits your hair:

• True Gray Graphite Shimmer Light- a toner packed with brightness, perfect for enhancing true gray results. This toner enhances the beautiful green eye color. A light shade like this is perfect for 100% gray hair, when you want to celebrate the color without adding shadow.
• True Gray Graphite Shimmer Medium- this toner is slightly deeper than the Graphite Shimmer Light, but still gray. This is a medium silver shade that will suit everyone. This toner is nice and fresh with blue or blue-gray eyes. Use the toner to add shadow or dimension.
• True Gray Graphite Shimmer Dark- this Dark toner is ideal for adding depth, dimension and shadows to gray hair. Also great for eyebrows and men's beards.
• True Gray Pearl Mist Light- this light violet gray color will make your locks shimmer with every sweep. The coolness and lightness look fresh, wonderful with blue or green eyes. Ideal for creating subtle reflections in 100% gray hair. Also helps reduce yellowness without adding shadow.
• True Gray Pearl Mist Dark- still cool and violet gray, but darker. This shade adds depth and definition to silver hair. This color looks very nice with brown, gray-blue and hazel eyes. We recommend using this toner on hair that is less than 70% gray for clients who are currently experiencing a salt-and-pepper effect through their locks.
• True Gray Steel Glow Medium- a gray base with an icy blue tint, ideal for banishing dull tones. If you want a lighter version of this cool shade, add some Clear Conditioning Perfector to dilute the toner.
• True Gray Steel Glow Dark- a dark and cool toner, perfect for dark hair that is less than 70% gray.
