      How do I clean the BIBS Fossil Gray & Mauve pacifiers?

      As you may already know, it is important to clean BIBS pacifiers regularly to preserve the pacifiers and the health of your little one. Below you will find everything about cleaning BIBS pacifiers, what you should do and especially what you should not do. Check it out!

      Step 1.Bring water to the boil in a kettle or saucepan.

      Step 2.Pour the boiled water into a bowl or pan, but make sure it does not boil anymore.

      Step 3.Place the BIBS pacifiers in the hot water and let them soak for a maximum of 5 minutes.

      Step 4.Remove the pacifiers from the water and let them dry on a clean towel.

      Step 5.Make sure not to give the pacifiers directly to your baby to avoid burns in the mouth.

      For daily cleaning

      • Use a colander:Place the nipples in a colander.
      • Pour boiled water over it: Pour a little boiled water over it. This is enough to kill bacteria without damaging the teats.
      • Do not boil: Avoid boiling the teats as this can damage the natural rubber - and that is the last thing you want

       

      Help! My BIBS pacifier smells like rubber… is that normal?

      You might not expect it, but yes - this is very normal. It does not mean that the pacifiers are not good. It is very normal that natural rubber smells like rubber. It does not have a synthetic coating, which is why you smell it. Silicone pacifiers you do not smell or taste, but of course they are not natural either. However, if it is possible that your little one does not want to take the pacifier, this could be the cause. Then it is wise to look at other material pacifiers such as silicone pacifiers.
