What are the pH values of ActNow products?
Did you know that there are many different pH values per hair product and that they all have a different effect on your hair? A pH value is used to indicate how 'acidic' something is. This is indicated by numbers between 0-14, where a pH value of 7 is considered neutral. Anything between 0-7 is considered slightly acidic to strongly acidic. Anything from 7-14 is considered slightly basic to strongly basic. Every hair care product has a pH value.
The pH value of your scalp is on average 4.7 and of your hair 3.7. Hair products you use all have their own pH value, which when used is mixed with the pH value of your hair and scalp. This can make your hair more acidic. It is best to use a hair product that is close to your own pH level. This is because your hair has to get used to a change in the pH value, which can result in: tangles, fluff, dull hair, split ends, fragile hair, dehydrated hair, less resilient hair, etc. A good pH value (between 3.5-5.0) thus provides a positive effect, which can lead to: shiny, smooth, hydrated, strong, resilient and protected hair. How do I use Indola ActNow care products?
ActNow!'s shampoos you all use the same way: you distribute the shampoo over wet hair, let it soak in for a while and then rinse it out thoroughly. The shampoos are all mild, free of harmful ingredients, suitable for daily use and all hair types.
We recommend that you always use a care product in the form of a mask or conditioner after a shampoo. A shampoo opens your hair scales to rid your hair of dirt, styling residue, excess fat, etc. If you do not use a conditioner or mask afterwards, your hair scales remain open. This makes your hair vulnerable to external influences and can damage it faster. Just rubbing your hair dry can be enough to damage your hair. Why should you use a mask or conditioner? These close your hair cuticles. As a result, external influences are kept out, your hair remains strong, smooth and shiny.
With Indola ActNow! you can choose from three care products: conditioner, mask or a moisture spray:
Color Conditioner - This fits perfectly with the Color Shampoo, but can of course also be used in combination with the Repair or Moisture Shampoo. Apply the conditioner to washed, towel-dried hair and leave it on for 2 minutes. Then rinse it thoroughly.
Repair Mask - You can use the mask in combination with all ActNow! shampoos, but of course fits perfectly with the Repair Shampoo. Apply the mask to the lengths and ends and leave it on for 5-10 minutes. Then rinse it well. Use the mask twice a week after washing your hair. For example, you can use this mask 2x instead of a conditioner.
Moisture Spray - Do you want hydration all day long? Then this leave-in conditioner is really something for you. The moisturizing spray fits perfectly with the Moisture Shampoo, but can of course also be used in combination with other shampoos. Use the spray on towel-dried hair (after you wash it), spray it on the mid-lengths and ends and do not rinse.
